Hello! I’m Dr. Jake Beckstrand, originally from Moorpark, California, where I loved trips to the beach and Disneyland and cheering on the Lakers and Dodgers—though I’ve recently begun warming up to the Suns and Diamondbacks. At 13, my family moved to Saint George, Utah, and in 2011 I had the incredible opportunity to live in Japan, where I grew to love the culture, food, and people. After returning to the U.S., I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Dixie State University and married my amazing wife, Jazmine, in 2016.
We then moved to Salt Lake City, where I completed my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Utah in 2020, followed by an Orthodontic Residency and Master of Science degree from Marquette University in Wisconsin in 2022. Today, Jazmine and I are the proud parents of three energetic boys—Jordan, Grayson, and Liam—and in my free time I enjoy playing piano, singing, basketball, hiking, and family adventures. I’m passionate about creating confident, healthy smiles, and I feel grateful every day to do what I love while helping others on their smile journey.
