What To Expect
Your first visit with us is an exciting time and we always look forward to meeting each and every one of our patients! This initial visit not only includes an exam, but it’s also a time for us to get to know you, discuss any issues you may be experiencing, and learn what you want to achieve from treatment. We understand that choosing to undergo orthodontic treatment is a big decision, so our practice will work closely with you at every stage of the treatment process to improve the way you look and feel while making sure the end result is just as rewarding as you wanted.
This visit will also involve a comprehensive exam, including X-rays, photographs, and digital scans to give our team the most accurate image of your current smile. Not only will this help with starting treatment, but this also allows Dr. Beckstrand to carefully craft a treatment plan that is specific to your smile. We will also address the following questions that cover the basics of orthodontic treatment:
- Is treatment needed now, or should treatment be delayed until appropriate growth, tooth eruption, or other factors have occurred?
- What treatment procedures can/will be used to correct my problem?
- Approximately how long will treatment take?
- How much will it cost?
- What are my payment options?
