Meet Dr. Jake Beckstrand
Hello! I am Dr. Jake Beckstrand, and I grew up in the modest town of Moorpark California. Some of my favorite childhood memories are trips to the beach and Disneyland. I’ve always been a big Lakers and Dodgers fan—but I’m starting to warm up to the Suns and Diamondbacks!
When I was 13, my family moved to Saint George, Utah, where I spent the remainder of my youth. In 2011, I had the amazing opportunity to live in Japan for several years. I fell in love with the culture, the food, and the incredible people I met during my time there. Shortly after returning to the U.S., I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Dixie State University and married my amazing wife, Jazmine, in 2016.
We moved to Salt Lake City so I could attend the University of Utah School of Dentistry, where I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2020. From there, we headed to Wisconsin so I could pursue my dream of becoming an orthodontist. I completed my Orthodontic Residency at Marquette University and received my Master of Science degree in 2022.
Jazmine and I now have three wonderful boys—Jordan, Grayson, and Liam—who keep us on our toes! When I’m not in the office, you can usually find me playing the piano, singing, shooting hoops, hiking, or just enjoying time with my family.
I’m passionate about helping people achieve confident, healthy smiles, and I feel so lucky to do what I love every day. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your smile journey!
